Our SLO Town Family & Your Wedding During the COVID 19 Pandemic

Hey SLO Town Family!

In these crazy times, I don’t want to barge into your inbox with one more “here’s how we’re handling COVID-19” email. However I want you to know what happens in the terrible case of having to reschedule your wedding day! So here it comes, quick and snappy and hopefully super easy.

You are our #slotownfamily and we have every intention of being your photographer on your wedding day whether it takes place on the day that it is set or on a later date!

So with that being said here is what you need to know:

  1. If you should decide to reschedule your wedding due to COVID-19, your booking fee/retainer is transferable! If you need to reschedule your wedding you can transfer your booking fee to the new date with no additional fees. No Problemo!
  2. Please communicate with us if you are thinking of rescheduling. Patrick and I are working on publishing our availability so that you, our fam, can have our current up to date availability at your fingertips.
  3. Don’t forget Patrick and I are a team! We are both able to lead shoot photography and videography so if it comes to it, and you decide to reschedule for a date we are already booked then we will hopefully divide and conquer; which means Patrick or Kasie will be there to lead shoot. In the event we are both booked , we will have a trusted associate photographer/videographer shoot under our company and we will take care of the editing.
  4. If you decide to cancel all together, the retainer amount remains non-refundable but can be transferred to an engagement, elopement, or couples session scheduled before the end of 2021.

Some things to consider when rescheduling!

  1. Coordinating that many vendors for a later 2020 Saturday date could serve to be hard. You may consider looking at Friday or Sunday options to not only keep all current vendors confirmed but also to help with keeping costs low.
  2. Consider eloping with a reception to follow! Everyone dreams of their wedding day in different ways so maybe this doesn’t apply to you. However if you abso-fricken-lutely want to be married on your day, you can consider having the reception/party at a later date and eloping on your current one. We have experience with planning full service elopements and if you would like we can offer a video reel of your elopement to be played at your reception! We are currently offering discounted elopement services, so get in touch if you want to explore this option!

Have questions?! We are here for you, reach out, stay in touch, and let me know how we can help make this process easier for you!

Also… I am currently posting some great blog posts full of tips on how to help with COVID 19 Craziness that may be effecting your wedding. Let me know if you need more!

We love you guys! Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep smiling through it!
