Kina & Kelly // Dana Powers House Wedding Photographer

Ya’ll I don’t even know where to start with these two. This was the wedding of the year and if it had been one week later it never would of happened due to the Coronavirus.

Kina came to me in January asking for some help planning their wedding. Things were changing fast, the guest list was swelling with people who wanted to celebrate with them and it was time to finish off the wedding planning. Having gone to school with the groom, Kelly and being the one who photographed Kina’s older sister’s wedding; my answer was of course “Heck Yes, I would love to help out!”. Now I am not a planner by any means, however for a friend I am there and slowly SLO Town Studios team’s duties morphed from planner to photographer, photo booth operator, and even florist. With such close ties to the family, this hardly felt like work.

Now onto the part you really wanna check out… the wedding of Kina & Kelly Shepard!

The Girls Getting Ready ~

Kina’s wedding dress was from one of my personal favorite bridal boutiques called Moondance. Look at the detail and pattern on this dress it was so beyond flattering and Kina was a true beauty in it.

The girls subbed out the typical bridal robes for some fun mismatched flannels!

Champagne popping is a must have for wedding party portraits!

Large Wedding Parties are so so so much fun mainly because with that much laughter it is bound to be contagious!

Loved the use of emerald green and different metallics for all of the dresses! What a beautiful contrast of color for these ladies!

Dana Powers House offers so much for photos! Cute rose gardens, full rows of oranges, and a lovely field of green!
