Briana and Alex are one of those couples that simply beam with joy and zest for life. Even during their dating time, they quickly bonded over cooking new foods and exploring the outdoors. One of their adventures was the prequel to this beautiful love chapter. As they were camping on Prewitt Ridge in Big Sur, on the leap day of 2020, Alex proposed to her with the ocean and mountains serving as an iconic backdrop. They celebrated their engagement with champagne in sierra cups and a gas stove dinner – romance at its finest! Now, it was time for their chapter to grow into the epic tale that it was meant to be, and we were honored to become part of their day as their wedding photo and video team!

They hosted their classic wedding on Alex’s parent’s estate in beautiful Gilroy, California. The whole celebration was a medley of emotions, filled with heartfelt laughter. From the preparations to the very end of the day we couldn’t stop capturing their love with our candid photography style. Every single detail was wonderfully curated but the sweetest was the groom’s dog Remi being the ring bearer. The overall aesthetic featured a lot of natural elements like wood infused with green and white, and a dash of blush pink that completed the bridesmaids’ dresses and wedding florals.

The couple went to great lengths to make their guests feel cozy and welcome, and that was seen in the gifts prepared for them. They included custom brewed beer made by the groom and his family. After the heartwarming ceremony followed the reception with the liveliest party in which everyone had an amazing time. As a wedding photo and video team, it is ever so precious to capture those moments! One of the highlights was when one of Briana’s bridesmaids, Kelsey, sang a song during the reception, making everything even more special.
