There’s just something about the bond we share with our dogs — it’s pure, loyal, and full of joy. That’s exactly the energy we celebrated on June 1st during Doggie Days 2025 — our fifth annual fundraiser benefiting Woods Humane Society!
What started as a small idea, inspired by my sweet pup Koda who passed away in June 2020, has now become one of the most heartfelt events of the year. Koda lived to be 16 years old, and even though he was with me through so many seasons of life, I don’t have nearly enough photos of him. That’s where the heart of Doggie Days was born: to make it easy and joyful for dog owners to get timeless portraits of their furry family.
This year’s Doggie Days was such a success — filled with wagging tails, happy humans, and lots of treats. Together, we raised funds for Woods Humane Society, helping support their mission to care for and re-home animals in need.
But beyond the fundraiser, this day is about creating space where dogs can shine in front of the camera. Whether they were dressed up in a cute bandana or showing off their goofy smile, every dog deserved their moment in the spotlight.
As a dog mom myself, I love when clients bring their pups to photo sessions — and Doggie Days is the perfect way to show how low-stress and fun it can be. Whether you’re celebrating a puppy milestone or honoring a lifelong companion, these portraits become memories you’ll treasure forever.
