Some engagement sessions feel uniquely personal, and Tina and Jake’s session at Ciento Cellars was exactly that.
Nestled among the rolling hills and vineyards of Paso Robles, Ciento Cellars provided the perfect backdrop for an engagement session that celebrated not only their relationship, but also a very important member of their family—their beloved black Labrador: Wrangler.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear their dog wasn’t simply a pet. He was family. Throughout the session, he joined in on portraits, explored the vineyard with endless enthusiasm, and treated us to plenty of zoomies across the hillsides. Those playful moments became some of my favorite images from the day because they reflected exactly who Tina and Jake are together.

The vineyard itself offered breathtaking views, golden light, and the kind of scenery that makes Paso Robles engagement sessions so memorable. We wandered through the vines, soaked in the beautiful landscape, and documented a season of life they would soon look back on fondly.
What makes this engagement session even more special is that Tina and Jake later returned to Ciento Cellars to celebrate their wedding day. Having the opportunity to photograph both milestones in the same meaningful location made their story feel beautifully full-circle.
As a photographer, there’s something incredibly rewarding about documenting not just a wedding day, but the journey leading up to it. Tina and Jake’s engagement session was filled with laughter, gorgeous vineyard views, and a four-legged family member who stole the show more than once.
