Some weddings are beautiful because of the details.
Others are beautiful because of the people.
Michael and Shay’s wedding at Willow & Oak Estate was both.
Set among the rolling vineyards and oak trees of Paso Robles wine country, their wedding day felt timeless, romantic, and full of joy. Soft blue tones paired beautifully with lush spring florals, creating an elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the estate’s natural beauty.
As a Willow & Oak wedding photographer, it’s always a treat to work at a venue that offers so many stunning backdrops. From the vineyard views to the thoughtfully designed reception spaces, every corner feels like it was made for celebrating love.
One of the most meaningful details of the day was Shay’s wedding dress.
As a bridal consultant, Shay had spent years helping other brides find the perfect gown for their wedding day. When it finally came time to choose her own, the moment carried even more significance.
And she absolutely did not disappoint.
Her gown was elegant, timeless, and perfectly suited to the style of the day.

The wedding design embraced soft blue tones and abundant spring florals, creating a fresh and romantic feel throughout the celebration.
From the ceremony space to the reception tables, every detail felt intentional while allowing the beauty of Willow & Oak Estate to shine.
One of the things I’ll always remember about Michael and Shay is how genuinely kind and joyful they were throughout the day.
Wedding days can be busy, emotional, and sometimes a little chaotic, but these two stayed focused on what mattered most: celebrating with the people they love.
Their excitement was contagious, and every guest seemed to feel it.

One of my favorite parts of working with Shay throughout the wedding process was discovering our shared love of Disney and Gilmore Girls.
Those little connections often become some of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer. By the wedding day, it felt less like showing up to work and more like celebrating alongside friends.
Michael and Shay’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most memorable weddings aren’t just about stunning venues or gorgeous details.
They’re about the people.
The laughter shared with family.
The quiet moments between newlyweds.
And the beginning of a brand-new chapter together.
Congratulations, Michael and Shay. It was an honor to document your beautiful wedding day at Willow & Oak Estate.
